Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering
In 2009, the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering celebrated the 90th anniversary of its founding. The growing need for mineral resources and drinking water have marked our present and our future. The exploration and exploitation of these resources and the effect of these processes on the environment, as well as the knowledge of soil and rocks in the underground important for planning large buildings and building constructions, call for experts (engineers) in the specific fields of geology, mining and petroleum engineering. These experts are educated at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum Engineering.
Undergraduate study programmes:
Mining Engineering Geological Engineering Petroleum Engineering After the successful completion of undergraduate studies in the duration of 6 semesters students can enrol to a graduate study programme in the duration of 4 semesters.
